Look what the the mail man brought today!! My new knitting bag, Woo Hoo!!! My next project is already in it, a cabled poncho for my DD#2. I have the large size from Smith and Hawkin but smaller projects just got lost in it. This new size is perfect!

This is a Valentine's Dish Cloth I made for friends and family. I couldn't get the heart pattern to show up with my camera with the cloth laying flat so I gave up and just took a pix of how I presented them. I used a pipe cleaner to tie up the center and bend the ends like an antenna so it looks like a Butterfly. Most of the recipients say it's too cute to use on dishes so they will use them as facial cloths.

These are the mittens I made for my Mother. They were knit with Berroco's Ultra Alpaca and the color is Rose Spice. These were my first mittens ever so I knit them flat on 2 needles using "Bev's Mitts" pattern from http://http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/the-mitts.html. They were a bit too small for her so I'll be making another attempt. Now that I understand mitten construction maybe I'll get brave and knit them with Magic Loop which I just learned.
